Our Relationship With Our Customer

Computer Power Protection (CPP) has a long standing relationship with Options Technology dating from 2009 when CPP supplied, commissioned and maintained 2 x Riello UPS Master Plus 400kVA UPS stand-alone systems with associated batteries in an A & B arrangement.

Options Technology's Requirements

As Options Technology’s demand increased the data centre grew around the UPS resulting in limited space for access around the UPS. When Options Technology looked to update, increase capacity and resilience on the existing UPS system arrangement they engaged Computer Power Protection. We reviewed the existing installation and propose a solution that met with their criteria along with all change-over works at weekends and without any downtime.

Challenges

Due to space constraints CPP proposed, 4 x Riello UPS Multi Power Modular UPS systems in stand-alone configuration with each UPS initially having 4 x Riello UPS Multi Power 42kW power modules installed to provide 126kW in N+1 configuration and capacity to add more power modules should the load increase over time.
